A pendulum is any heavy object suspended on a string or cord, where Spirit can use the energy of your hand and in the object to swing in a direction to indicate an answer. Most of the time if the answer to your question is “no,” the pendulum will swing from side to side, and a back-and-forth movement generally means the answer is “yes.” If your pendulum swings in a clockwise direction means "yes", a counterclockwise direction means "no". However you can also ask your pendulum what a 'yes' is and what a 'no' is, and it may change every time you use it.
